You can bring your Aluminum Cans, Copper or Brass to the Bridgerland Technical College- West Campus (1410 N. 1000 West Logan,Utah)Steel, Cars, Appliances and anything else made of metal can go to Valley Recycling’s facility located at 145 North 10th West.  Be a part of the celebration, eat some FREE Lunch and GO GREEN, GET GREEN!

The Aggies very own BIG BLUE will be with us from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm on Saturday April 21st!  Join us for Lunch and grab a photo with the USU mascot.

A. ALUMINUM CANS | We will be paying $0.55/lb. 

Q. What are you paying for scrap automobiles during the Earth Day Celebration?

A.We are paying different prices for automobiles depending on their size and weight.  The larger and heavier the automobile, the higher the price.  We also pay differently if the automobile is missing parts like the engine, transmission, exhaust system ect. In order to get full price for your scrap car it must have a motor, transmission, radiator and complete exhaust system otherwise $ is deducted from the price

Small – Small 2 & 4 door compact and subcompact cars.  Typically have 3 or 4 cylinder engines.  Usually seats 2-4. (Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Dodge Neon, Ford Fiesta, Mazda 3)

Q. What category would my scrap automobile fall in?

A. Below is a description for each scrap automobile classification.  This is a tool to help you determine what class your scrap auto may fall into.  Not all makes or models are included but should serve as examples of the size and class for each category.  If you have a questions please call us at (435) 213-1606

Q. What documents do I need to scrap my vehicle??

A. Required documents for selling vehicles

– An original State Issued Vehicle Title matching the VIN on the vehicle and with the form completed. (see next question)
– A State Issued Photo I.D.
– Bills of Sale CANNOT be used in the sale of a vehicle.

Q. What information needs to be completed on the title when selling my vehicle?

A. Here is a checklist for filling out your title.
– Owners information and address.
– VIN, year, make, model
– Odometer (if vehicle is newer than 2002 model year)
– If the title shows a Lien-holder the lien release MUST be completed and signed by the lien holder.
– Title must have all previous and current owners’ signatures (Chain of Ownership – Buyer/Seller)
– Seller’s Name and current Full Address
– Seller’s Signature and Date.

– If more than one owner is listed, then more than one seller signature may be required.
– If the names are connected with an “AND” then both/all signatures are required as the Seller.
– If the names are connected with an “OR” then either signature alone is enough.
– If multiple names are listed without “AND” or “OR” then all signatures are required.

Q. Do I have to go to both locations if I have multiple items? (Ex: Aluminum Cans & Steel)

A: Good Question! You do not need to visit both locations if you have multiple items. If you have over 500 lbs of steel we will better be able to serve you at Valley Metal Recycling. We will only be able to accept small amounts of steel at the Bridgerland Technical College. If you have mainly cans or copper with small amounts of steel we will be happy to serve you at the Bridgerland Technical College.

Q. When & where is lunch served?

A. Lunch is served from 11 am – 2 pm both Friday & Saturday at the Bridgerland Technical College – West Campus.  Bring the family for a day of food, fun, prizes and cash! You must bring in scrap metal in order to receive free lunch!

Q. What is being served for lunch?

A. We are barbecuing hamburgers and Hot Dogs with Chips and Drinks. And also RAFFLING OFF PRIZES!

Q. Will you be serving lunch at Valley Recycling too?

A. No – we will have snacks at our Recycling Facility at (145 N. 1000 W., Logan) but if you would like lunch too, customers are welcome to come to the Bridgerland Technical College – West Campus (1410 North 1000 West Logan) for lunch from 11 am – 2 pm Friday & Saturday.

Q. Do you need to recycle some metal in order to get free lunch?

A. Yes – All customers are eligible to get 1 serving of lunch on either Friday or Saturday.
